Visit Kā Uri

Only 1km heading north from our location, at Kā Uri you can view 45,000 year old Kā Uri including a Kā Uri Tree Stump Staircase that can be climbed to the second level of the building. Enjoy a coffee at the café in the premises.

Visit Gumdiggers Park

Approximately 20 minutes drive north of us. at Gumdiggers Park you can experience a step back in history to over a 100 years ago and see how much of the revenue of the Far North was earned by gumdigging as you walk around an outdoor museum of ancient Kauri stumps and original gumfields.
